Self-massage: One of the most direct and effective treatments when taking essential oils is to mix 4-5 drops with a tablespoon of a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil then rubbing it into any sore joint or muscle.

Bath soak: Adding a few drops of essential oil to your bath can help relieve your sore muscles and joints. Plus, you can even add up to three cups of Epsom salt to help your pain reduce even more. This is because Epsom salt contains magnesium sulfate, which is a common pain reliever.
